Happy Mother's Day!

I still have so many photos from my trip to Mexico that I want to share. I’ve decided that I’ll spread them out over the course of a few “Tuesdays with Eli’s“. I spent a week in Mexico with my best friend, Jordan. It was my last trip as a single man. I’ve been on many a vacations with Jordan and his family in the past, we’ve been best friends for the last 12 years. Jordan has this neat web design company out of Fayetteville called Shift Creative, you should check it out. Jordan built my website and blog from the ground up. He’s your man if you have any web needs.
So here’s a few more photos from Mexico. These kids were pretty awesome. Jordan is on the right rockin’ the peace sign. They didn’t speak a whole lot of English, but we learned really quickly that both hunting hermit crabs and playing soccer (fútbol), are universal languages. Enjoy!!

Candice really has been with me from the beginning, she’s been a loyal client and friend for over the last two years. When I was first getting started in photography, Candice helped me build my portfolio by letting me photograph her bridal portraits. After Candice and Ray got married in 2008, it wasn’t long before their family began to grow. I was super excited that Candice still thought of me to do her maternity photos. That really is the biggest complement that I receive, when I take someone’s photo and they are so happy they come back. I hope that I will continue to be a part of Candice, Ray, and now baby Jaycee’s lives and I plan to continue to deliver photos that will make them smile. Thanks again Candice, for letting me be a part of your special moments, you certainly are a special part of my life.

John’s is 4 months old and quite a character already. I had a really great time, such a good looking family and Baby John is one crazy cute baby. Enjoy!
Check out that drool in this last one.
Author: Eli | Filed under: families, kids | Tags: Arkansas Photographer, Baby Portraits, Family Photos, Modern Family PortraitsI’ve always really enjoyed taking family portraits. I love when I can just be in the background and capture the family as they interact together. Especially if I can meet the family at the setting of their choice. I know that if everyone is comfortable, the photos will show that. I met the Bratcher family at their backyard play gym. Little Jackson & Riley were right at home, I was just there snapping away with my camera. These were two of the most adorable siblings I’ve seen. I know that Mom and Dad will cherish these times forever, and I was honored that they asked me to photograph it. Here are just a few of my favorites from the day. Enjoy!
Here’s the whole family!
Author: Eli | Filed under: families, kids | Tags: Arkansas Photographer, Children, Conway Family Portraits, OctoberI had such a great time photographing the Wiggins Family last weekend. They’re super nice people, and little Jackson was way too cute. He was just a ball of energy. Every time I lifted my camera up he would smile and excitedly yell “cheese”. We took all of the formal family photos first. The entire extended family’s group photo, then I spend some time just watching April, her husband, and her son interact. This is my favorite way to take family photos. I like to step back and just watch the family. I am looking for natural laughs, smiles, and the unexpected. I want to capture the small details. I want to photograph families as they are. This photo session was in Memphis, but I would love to meet any new families in the Little Rock area that are looking for family photos. Give me a call if I can help your family. There is still some time this Fall before it starts getting too cold.
