Leslie and I met up with Haley and Chris in the Argenta District of Downtown North Little Rock for their engagement portraits. Like most photographers, I’ve done a few photos in the Argenta area before. It’s a great location to shoot portraits, plus it has that super cool, old school Coca-Cola wall. However, this engagement session was a little different… Haley and Chris actually first met each other in the Argenta District and then later Chris asked Haley if she would marry him here in this same spot. I always love hearing the proposal stories of couples in love, I also really like photographing in locations that have special memories or meanings. They’re getting married the first of August and I’m so thankful to be a part of their big day! Here’s a couple images from their engagement session, enjoy and leave them some love or wish them congrats!

Aren’t they just awesome together!

Haley has such a wonderfully contagious smile.

There’s that cool Coca-Cola wall I told you about.

I met up with Austin and Cara in the Hillcrest area to shoot their engagements, the weather was perfect. We shot around Hillcrest for a little bit and then borrowed somebody’s flowers that were in bloom beside their home, haha. I’m super excited about their wedding this Sunday at Marlsgate Plantation in Scott, AR. Enjoy! Stay tuned for Cara’s Bridal Portraits and their wedding photos soon!

Last weekend my wife and I had the wonderful privilege of spending a couple days with Lauren and Michael, their families, and closest friends. I’m so thankful that they chose us to be a part of their wedding day. The ceremony was beautiful, Lauren’s dad’s speech made us all cry, and these people know how to throw a party! I had so many photos that I wanted to share. I tried to narrow them down, but it was way too difficult.
The Ceremony and Reception were both at the Church Street Station in downtown Jonesboro.

All the beautiful flowers were brought to you by Posey Peddler in Jonesboro. Gorgeous flowers and a cool name, check them out.

This was my favorite set of images from the day. Something about vintage wallpaper, a grandfather clock, amazing light, and a beautiful bride make for a great set in my eyes. It’s very southern bride.

This room was so full of love it was crazy. Happy tears are always good for the soul.

One of my absolute favorite images of the day, taken by none other than my beautiful wife and awesome second photographer.

I love wedding receptions with live bands. This band was amazing The Vikki McGee Band, check them out!

All the images from the wedding day can be viewed and purchased here.

Here is a long overdue blog that I realized I needed to post so you would have a chance to get to know this super awesome couple before I post their wedding photos, meet Lauren and Michael! These guys are individually amazing, but even better together. Oh yeah, that little guy that Lauren is holding is their dog, Charlie, he’s pretty cool dude also. They are my first wedding of the year and I’m super excited to share it with you all. We took their engagement portraits at the Pleasant Valley Country Club here in Little Rock. Enjoy! Stay tuned for their wedding blog post tomorrow!

Taylor and Melanie are a super sweet couple. This Wednesday they made the trip down from Duluth, Minnesota to visit with family and take their engagement photos with me here in Little Rock. We had a blast and I can easily see why these two are perfect for each other. When they first got here, I told them that we may have to jump a few fences to get into some good locations. Melanie seemed a little worried, but I promised not to get us thrown in jail for trespassing so she went along for the ride, haha. Turns out we only had to cross one fence and it was on a public park so it was a good day. However, we were almost attached by a friendly/excited wet dog who had more than likely just taken a swim in the river and was out for a run, haha.
Stay tuned for Taylor and Melanie’s wedding photos this August! Enjoy!

Our roadtrip is more than halfway over, WPPI is right around the corner, and I’m fighting for time to blog all the photos. Our first stop on this epic roadtrip was Laguna Beach, California to shoot an e-session. I have so many wonderful things to say about Jason and Marissa. I could go on and on about how they are such great people and that they are just perfect together, but I think I should just let some of the photos speak for me. I had Leslie right beside me taking some pretty awesome photos herself. I’m so glad that we could make the trip to California to take Marissa and Jason’s engagement photos, and I can’t wait until May for their wedding in Temecula! This location is called 1000 steps in Laguna Beach, this was actually the same beach where Jason proposed to Marissa. Enjoy!

This last photo was taken by my wonderful wife. Stay tuned for part two of the engagement session tomorrow. – Eli
