Nancy + Micah – Arkansas Engagement Portraits

This engagement session was so much fun! Nancy’s parents have land outside of Cabot, Arkansas. The setting for this engagement session was very unique, because Nancy’s grandfather hand planted each of the pine trees that  you see. Eli and I love when we can shoot engagement sessions in environments that are personal to the couple. We could have photographed these two all day, they are so photogenic. Nancy and Micah are such a sweet couple and we can’t wait for their wedding in July! Be sure to leave them some love!!

The sunset that night was incredible and we just couldn’t pass up shooting with some lights. I love the way they turned out!

Haley + Chris – Little Rock Engagement Portraits

Leslie and I met up with Haley and Chris in the Argenta District of Downtown North Little Rock for their engagement portraits. Like most photographers, I’ve done a few photos in the Argenta area before. It’s a great location to shoot portraits, plus it has that super cool, old school Coca-Cola wall. However, this engagement session was a little different… Haley and Chris actually first met each other in the Argenta District and then later Chris asked Haley if she would marry him here in this same spot. I always love hearing the proposal stories of couples in love, I also really like photographing in locations that have special memories or meanings. They’re getting married the first of August and I’m so thankful to be a part of their big day! Here’s a couple images from their engagement session, enjoy and leave them some love or wish them congrats!

Austin + Cara – Arkansas Engagement Portraits

I met up with Austin and Cara in the Hillcrest area to shoot their engagements, the weather was perfect. We shot around Hillcrest for a little bit and then borrowed somebody’s flowers that were in bloom beside their home, haha. Sarah + Chris Arkansas Engagement Photos

This super awesome couple is getting married this Saturday in Altus Arkansas and I am so excited and thankful to be photographing their big day! I can’t wait to share their wedding photos with you guys! Until then please enjoy their engagements that we photographed back in November.

Megan + Aaron – Arkansas Engagement Portraits

If love was a sport, these two would be national champs! Meet Megan and Aaron. Can’t wait until their wedding this June! Congrats you two, enjoy!

Taylor + Melanie – Arkansas Engagement Portraits

Taylor and Melanie are a super sweet couple. This Wednesday they made the trip down from Duluth, Minnesota to visit with family and take their engagement photos with me here in Little Rock. We had a blast and I can easily see why these two are perfect for each other. When they first got here, I told them that we may have to jump a few fences to get into some good locations. Melanie seemed a little worried, but I promised not to get us thrown in jail for trespassing so she went along for the ride, haha. Turns out we only had to cross one fence and it was on a public park so it was a good day. However, we were almost attached by a friendly/excited wet dog who had more than likely just taken a swim in the river and was out for a run, haha.

Kaylen + Patrick – Arkansas Engagement Photos

I’ve got three reasons why I’m pumped to be photographing Patrick and Kaylen’s wedding in July! First, they are one cool couple and have lots of love for each other. Second, they also booked one super cool wedding planner Jessica Kersey to help them with their wedding. Third, they’re reception is at the Clinton Library and I’ve never shot a wedding there! Anjuli + Charles – Arkansas Engagement Photographer

I met up with Anjuli and Charles in Benton where they’re both from. We had a couple locations picked out in downtown Benton, that we knew we wanted to photograph their engagement photos. They both knew the area much better than me but I because I was down there the week before, I also had a place in mind that I wanted to shoot. We hopped in their car and started towards the open field I was looking for, but stopped suddenly when we saw this section of planted pine trees. Probably the coolest area I’ve found in a while. I had a blast! Here’s just a couple of my favorites. Enjoy!

Patrick + Courtney – Little Rock Engagement Photography

Last week I met up with Patrick and Courtney. We were all watching the weather everyday leading up to their engagement portraits. Of course we were looking for the perfect weather, but this is Arkansas. : ) When we began our e-session, the sun was up and there was no chance of rain. It was only slightly overcast. That was all good though, we started knocking out some great portraits right off. Courtney and Patrick were awesome, they were having fun just enjoying each other and I was just snapping away! Towards the end of our session the weather began to change dramatically but that still didn’t stop us, we were having too much fun. I also wanted to make sure we got a couple shots on top of the Junction Bridge in the RiverMarket, this was were Patrick proposed to Courtney. We ran to the top of the bridge, braving the wind, rain, and cold. The photos right at the end turned out to be some of my favorite photos from the day, and I know they’ll be extra special to Courtney & Patrick. Lesson learned… always take that extra effort. : ) Here’s a couple photos from the session! Enjoy!

Justin + Sarah – Little Rock Engagement Photos

I’m so excited to show off these engagement photos that we took on Monday. I met up with Justin & Sarah downtown Little Rock near Sticky Fingers, FYI I’m a big fan of their chicken. We had a great time and I promised them I would make it easy on them. Nothing to difficult, just hanging out taking some photos right? Truth is, they made it easy on me. What a great looking couple, and Justin kept us both laughing with all his jokes, haha. Here are just a couple of my favorites! Enjoy!
