Eric & Holly - Modern Wedding Portraits
I could probably talk for hours about how much I love this set of portraits, the light was gorgeous and Eric & Holly were super awesome subjects. They let me drag them outside in the heat and into a grassy field during the middle of their reception. It's not every day that I get that opportunity, but as you can see, when the time is right, the time is right. I'll let the photos do the rest of the talking, haha. Enjoy!
Michael + Kristie - Arkansas Wedding Photography
My good friend and really great fellow wedding photographer, Michael Juiliano got married last weekend! I was super excited to be a part of his wedding and completely honored that he asked me to be his photographer. I know how first hand how important selecting a wedding photographer is. Michael and I first met at a photographer's get-together hosted by one of California's top wedding photographers, [b]ecker. Michael and I really didn't get to talk much the first time we met, but we exchanged cards and since then Michael has been coming to my monthly photographer's lunch meet-ups here in Little Rock and we have become good friends. Some of you may also recognize Michael from around town because he is also the only hot dog cart vendor that I know of in Little Rock. He goes by the alias Hot Dog Mike!Michael and Kristie are perfect together. The wedding was a beautiful small ceremony at their country home with family and close friends as guest followed by some food and music. Catering curtisy of Hot Dog Mike's cart, and a cake from the Capital Hotel where Kristie & Michael first met. My favorite moment was their first dance on the grass, under the trees. It was such a unique wedding, I was so happy to be a part of it. Congrats you guys! Enjoy!
Adam + Erin - Pleasant Valley Wedding
Adam and Erin decided to tie the knot at the Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock. The ceremony was held outside on the terrace overlooking the greens. Pretty amazing location. The reception was inside the country club with full catering from Pleasant Valley and a DJ service from Ugly Ed Johnson from Alice 107.7. I was happy to have my good friend Allen from Partridge Lane second shooting with me. Here are a few of my favorite photos! Enjoy!
Alex's Bridal Portraits - Arkansas Wedding Photography
Today Josh & Alex are getting married. I'm working hard right now photographing their big day, but just couldn't wait to show off Alex's bridal portraits. So I decided to set up my blog to post today durning their wedding. Pretty cool stuff. I'm looking forward to sharing their wedding day photos soon, but until then, here are a few of my favorites portraits from Alex's bridal session. We shot these at the Harper-Alexander House in Little Rock. Enjoy!
Anjuli + Charles - Arkansas Engagement Photographer
I met up with Anjuli and Charles in Benton where they're both from. We had a couple locations picked out in downtown Benton, that we knew we wanted to photograph their engagement photos. They both knew the area much better than me but I because I was down there the week before, I also had a place in mind that I wanted to shoot. We hopped in their car and started towards the open field I was looking for, but stopped suddenly when we saw this section of planted pine trees. Probably the coolest area I've found in a while. I had a blast! Here's just a couple of my favorites. Enjoy!
Patrick + Courtney - Little Rock Engagement Photography
Last week I met up with Patrick and Courtney. We were all watching the weather everyday leading up to their engagement portraits. Of course we were looking for the perfect weather, but this is Arkansas. : ) When we began our e-session, the sun was up and there was no chance of rain. It was only slightly overcast. That was all good though, we started knocking out some great portraits right off. Courtney and Patrick were awesome, they were having fun just enjoying each other and I was just snapping away! Towards the end of our session the weather began to change dramatically but that still didn't stop us, we were having too much fun. I also wanted to make sure we got a couple shots on top of the Junction Bridge in the RiverMarket, this was were Patrick proposed to Courtney. We ran to the top of the bridge, braving the wind, rain, and cold. The photos right at the end turned out to be some of my favorite photos from the day, and I know they'll be extra special Courtney & Patrick. Lesson learned... always take that extra effort. : ) Here's a couple photos from the session! Enjoy!
