Krystina's Southern Bridal Portraits - Scott Arkansas
This Saturday I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Krystina and Cullen's wedding at Marlsgate in Scott Arkansas. Some of you may remember Krystina and Cullen from their engagement session in the swamps. I have so many wonderful photos from their wedding that I just cant wait to share, but until then check out some of Krystina's bridal portraits we took back in September. Enjoy!
Our Wedding Video!! - St. Thomas, Virgin Islands
When Leslie and I came back from our wedding in the Virgin Islands we were so crazy anxious to see our photos and video; we knew that our guys Collin Hughes, Matt Brue, and Spencer Combs had a real challenge on their hands with the weather. What should have been a super easy, beautiful beach wedding... turned out to be a monsoon on an island, haha. But we still couldn't wait to see em' and expected very rainy wedding video/photos. Of course would have loved it all the same, because it was our wedding, no matter how much rain there was it was beautiful to us..... However, when Matt sent us the trailer to our video, Leslie and I were completely blown away!!! I dimmed the lights, cranked up the volume on my computer, and Leslie sat in my lap. We waited for the video to fully download and then pressed play. From the very first frame, our jaws were on the floor. We must have watched it like 50 times that night!!! I can honestly say that I am still in shock, can't believe that it turned out to be that cool. I really can't explain how Matt made this happen, all I know is if you need a wedding video, he's your man!
Corey + Kristi - Arkansas Wedding Photography
Corey and Kristi's wedding will always have a special place in my heart because their wedding was exactly 3 days before my wedding. It was the last wedding I photographed as a single man, haha. Directly after leaving their reception I drove home, changed clothes, and then Leslie and I drove to the Memphis Airport to leave for our wedding in St. Thomas. It was definitely a long night, but I was so happy to be a part of Kristi and Corey's wedding. Kristi was so excited to get married, you couldn't take her smile away! There ceremony was at the Cedar Heights Baptist Church in North Little Rock. I was also happy to have my good friend and fellow photographer Mark Gregory with me.Here are a few of my favorite images from the first part of the day! Enjoy!
Nick + Krystin - Stonebriar Country Club, Dallas TX Wedding
About 8 months ago my good friend Geoff Duncan introduced me to a couple of his old high school friends that had fallen in love and decided to tie the knot. We had a couple of phone conversations and a few emails later, I was making my way down to Dallas, technically Frisco, for my first Texas Wedding this year to photograph Nick and Krystin's big day at the beautiful Stonebriar Country Club. Nick and Krystin both have the most incredibly loving families I've ever met. Everyone welcomed me with open arms and I really felt the love. I was really thankful to have Mark Gregory with me at their wedding helping me with all the details. The ceremony was outdoors, overlooking the golf course. The sun was setting and it was a beautiful day. Hope to photograph a few more weddings in Dallas, I kinda dig that Texas heat.
Patrick + Courtney - Arkansas Wedding Photographer
As promised, here is the second part of Courtney and Patrick's wedding day! Enjoy!
Patrick + Courtney - El Dorado, Arkansas Wedding Photography
Patrick and Courtney decided to tie the knot at the First United Methodist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas. They also wanted to set up a first look before the ceremony to save some time with family photos after the ceremony. I always love when couples decide to do a first look. They're always some of my favorite photos. Patrick anxiously awaited his bride as she walked down the isle to see him for the first time with her wedding gown. These special moments are the reason I love my job. If I can capture an image that shows half the love that they felt in that moment, I feel like I've done a good job. Stay tuned for some more of my favorite photos from there wedding day on the blog Wednesday! Enjoy!
