Krystina + Cullen - Vintage Southern Engagement Portraits

I'm super excited to share these Southern Arkansas swampland engagement portraits. This was probably the most unique engagement session I have shot. Cullen and Krystina were completely natural in this environment though. I think they may have been born in the wrong era, hahaha. It also could have something to do with all the practice taking photos they've had. You see Krystina just happens to be an awesome photographer in Benton and I'm sure Cullen has had his picture taken a few times. I had a blast shooting them both! We were probably inches away from Arkansas Alligators making a snack out of us, and we were definitely lunch for those giant mosquitoes but we got some great photos right? I decided to break their e-session up into two parts. Check back later this week for more photos with and outfit change and new location! Krystina & Cullen I can't wait for your wedding, Enjoy!

Today Sarah is getting married! This will be the last time she will carry the Hawkins name, so here are some beautiful southern vintage bridals to remember her by. I absolutely love these bridal portraits, I could't wait to show them off! Big thanks to Sarah's wedding planner Jessica Kersey, for setting these up!

Tuesdays with Eli - Arkansas Mosquitoes

Hope it's not too late for a Tuesdays with Eli blog post...Today was a very busy day for me. Lots of running around and craziness, but it ended on an awesome note. I finally got to shoot an engagement session similar to the "boat scene" in The Notebook. More on that later. Can't wait to blog those. Well after we survived the alligators in the swamp, we decided to let the sun drop down and take on the deadly Arkansas Mosquitoes. I'm pretty brave when it comes to most environments, but it only took about two minutes in the misquotes for me to say "That's a wrap!" Here is one shot I got. Those are not stars, they're deadly Arkansas Mosquitos. Enjoy!

Patrick + Courtney - El Dorado, Arkansas Wedding Photography

Patrick and Courtney decided to tie the knot at the First United Methodist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas. They also wanted to set up a first look before the ceremony to save some time with family photos after the ceremony. I always love when couples decide to do a first look. They're always some of my favorite photos. Patrick anxiously awaited his bride as she walked down the isle to see him for the first time with her wedding gown. These special moments are the reason I love my job. If I can capture an image that shows half the love that they felt in that moment, I feel like I've done a good job. Stay tuned for some more of my favorite photos from there wedding day on the blog Wednesday! Enjoy!

Lindsay + Brian - Hot Springs Arkansas Wedding Part 2

As promised, here is the second part of Lindsay and Brian's wedding day! The reception was located at the Moca Room in the Ozark Bath House in Hot Springs. This is also the Hot Springs Museum of Contemporary Art located right there on bath row. Pretty cool location for a wedding reception and right now some of Ansel Adams' early photographs are on display, I was really excited about that part. Enjoy!Pam Hill - Events By Pam
